FRANCESCA ZELACHOWSKI

Francesca Zelachowski grew up sailing on a Venture 25 and C&C 33 with her fondest memories being when she would live aboard for the summer months. Francesca is enjoying restoring a 1976 Cheoy Lee 33 with her father, a former national Snipe class racer in her family’s country of Argentina. Francesca is active within AYC’s Race Committee, Racing Women, Junior Sailing, and Knotty Girls. Professionally, Francesca started her career on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs supporting the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities trading desks and is now a First Vice President and Group Director within Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division.

Francesca brings to the AYC Foundation an execution-oriented energy and expertise within financial planning, development, giving strategies, and operational excellence. Francesca received an MS degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a BSBA from Babson College.
She currently lives in Cape St. Claire with her husband and three young children.

Francesca is excited to be part of the work to achieve the Velocity Campaign’s five year plan to build the AYC Foundation’s endowment to $5MM, ensuring a legacy of access to the Chesapeake Bay for the AYC members and the Annapolis community.
