Heather Downey Sutton has spent over 25 years in the financial
publishing industry, focusing on marketing, retention, and user
experience. During her time as Executive Director of World Financial
Seminars, she had the opportunity to design and lead financial
conferences and tours throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia.

A local for more than 40 years, Heather first discovered her love of
the water while water skiing on the Severn River after moving from the
Philadelphia area. A lifelong athlete, she values teamwork,
discipline, camaraderie, and the joy of working toward a shared
goal—both on and off the water. She’s proud to give back through the
AYC Foundation, helping support local sailors and the maritime
organizations that make such a lasting impact in our community.
