Jim Praley has been a member of the AYCF Board since 2008.  A native of Anne Arundel County, he learned to sail at Indian Landing Boat Club in his early teens and has long enjoyed sailing on the Chesapeake and offshore on his own boats and those of tolerant friends.  He is a strong advocate of the Foundation’s work and the good it can do for the sport and community.  Jim is a business and real estate attorney.  He and his wife, Joan Gillece, have two sons and three granddaughters who can often be found exploring the AYC campus.
