NYYC Women's 2v2 Team Race

In its fourth year, New York Yacht Club brought together some of the country's top female team racers to kick off the Club’s first event on their hosted, team race championship schedule.  Team members are not required to be from the same club or organization so that team captains can pull together their “rock star” crews with fewer limitations than normal.  Team Chesapeake sailed under the Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation banner. After two amazing days of racing, with a 6-3 in the initial round-robin and 3-1 in the gold round, they won a three-way tie and took 2nd place overall.  The team of current and past Annapolitans included AYC J/I members, Katja Sertl and Alli Gutenkunst.  Congratulations to Team Chesapeake!
