Seafarers Foundation Thank You for Friends and Family Celebration
On behalf of the Seafarers Foundation and the Summer Youth Program, I extend my heartfelt thanks for the beautiful and inspiring AYCF Friends & Family Celebration. The event was truly meaningful for our Junior Sailing Scholarship recipients, their families, and our Board members who attended. Caroline Bayless and Team Something Chill Take on the World—and Climbs the Rankings

The AYC Foundation High School Sailing Season Scholarship Awarded to Jonah and Orly Pearlman
Jonah (Jonathan) and Orly Pearlman from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, who sail with the Severn Sailing Association, were the grateful recipients of High School Sailing Scholarships during this 2026 Spring Season. Team Something Chill recently returned to Eastport Yacht Club for another stop on the Women’s World Match Racing Tour. The AYC Foundation Competition Sailing Grant Awarded to Koralina McKenna: 2026 ILCA 6 Masters World Championship in Athens, Greece
The Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation supported Koralina McKenna’s trip to compete in the 2026 ILCA 6 Masters World Championship in Athens, Greece. Over six days of racing, 159 competitors from 24 countries came together to compete at a world-class level. Among the 159 competitors, only 28 were women, and just three from the United States.

The AYC Foundation Competition Sailing Grant Awarded to Caroline Bayless: U.S. Match Race Qualifier in Annapolis, Maryland
Team Something Chill recently competed in the U.S. Match Race Qualifier hosted by Eastport Yacht Club in Annapolis, Maryland. The team delivered an outstanding performance, winning the event with a dominant 10-1 record and qualifying for the Prince of Wales Cup, the US National Match Race Championship, which will take place in San Diego, California from October 16–18.
