The AYCF Friends & Family Celebration welcomed Junior Sailing Scholarship recipients, their families, board members, and community partners. Summer Youth Program participants Teague Pettway and Leighton Harris were among the event’s highlights, sharing thoughtful reflections during a youth panel led by Sailing Director Bobby Lippincott. Their sincerity, confidence, and maturity demonstrated the meaningful impact of their sailing experiences and represented the Seafarers Foundation with distinction.
The Seafarers Foundation expressed heartfelt appreciation in the letter below for the AYCF Friends & Family Celebration, which brought together Junior Sailing community for an inspiring evening celebrating the transformative power of youth sailing.
The event was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished through strong community partnerships.
